Turkey Burger and Raita Dressing

INGREDIENTS

For the burger

-       450g minced turkey breast meat

-       1 medium red onion - finely chopped

-       2 tbs fresh mint/coriander

-       salt and pepper - to taste

-       1 egg

-       1 tsp soy sauce

-       1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

-       1 clove garlic chopped finely

-       1/2 chopped red chilli (optional)

For the Raita

-       3 tbs yoghurt

-       1/2 tsp crushed garlic

-       a few chopped mint leaves

For the salad

-       2 handfuls baby spinach leaves

-       a couple of cherry tomatoes

-       half an avocado

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all the burger ingredients in a bowl and mix well
  2. Form 4 small patties - don’t make them too thick so they can cook through properly
  3. Cook under a grill, on a griddle or fry in a tsp coconut oil.
  4. Serve with the salad and a good dollop of the raita
